AFT Dual use Hopper

The AFT dual use hopper has been designed to backfill narrow sportsfield drainage trenches and is often used in conjunction with the AFT WizzWheel and the AFT45 slitting wheel.

An interchangeable gravel chute or sand placement and compaction unit are easily attached to the bottom of the tractor mounted Hopper.

Material is fed to the Hopper, either stationary or on the move, from a side delivery trailer or by any other convenient method available.

IT OFFERS:

	The sand is placed on top of the gravel up to surface level, and is fully compressed in three stages by two compression discs and a rear roller.

• Fast, accurate backfilling of trenches as narrow as 30 mm.
  
  
• Mounted on a standard multi-purpose agricultural tractor with double acting hydraulics saves the costs and maintenance of a self-propelled vehicle.
  
  
• Fully adjustable depth control for gravel and sand flows.
  
  
• Even wet sand is made to flow well and is fully compressed.
  
  
• Hydraulically operated butterfly shutter cuts off the material supply before lifting the unit our of the trench.
  
  
• The already large material capacity can be increased with optional extension sides.
  
  
• No power drives or vibration units guarantee low operating costs and a minimum of maintenance.

Gravel is fed to the bottom of a pre-cut trench to an accurate depth, controlled by an adjustable setting bar.

A hydraulically operated shutter shuts off the supply at the end of each run, when the complete HOPPER is lifted out of the trench.
