MH100 Excavator mounted trencher

The MH100 is a powerfull and efficient Trencher Attachment to be mounted on the dipper arm of excavators, cutting neat narrow trenches many times faster than a digging bucket.
This versatile trencher can be used in many situations which were previously impossible or impractical.
Conventional chain and digging blades for normal soils or Beam chain with carbide bullet teeth for hard soils or road trenching.
Trench widths easily adaptable from 125 to 300mm with single boom and up to 550mm when twins booms and chains are fitted. Maximum digging depth up to 1.6 metres.
THE IDEAL SOLUTION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF ROAD VERGE PIPES AND CABLES, THE DIGGING OF FOUNDATIONS AND ANY TRENCHING WHEREVER THE ARM OF THE EXCAVATOR CAN REACH.

SPECIFICATIONS

DIGGING CHAIN. AND TEETH
75mm pitch heavy duty fully detachable roller digging chain fitted with hard faced austempered silicone manganese spring steel cutting teeth, with optional tungsten carbide pick teeth for hard, abrasive soils. Trenching widths of 125, 150 200, 250 or 300mm with single boom and up to 550mm with twin booms and chains fitted.

ALTERNATIVE
100mm pitch heavy duty alligator chain fitted with tungsten carbide teeth for very hard conditions and road trenching. Trench widths 175 to 300mm and up to 1.6 metres deep with single boom and up to 550mm wide and 1.4 metres depp with twin booms and chains.

DEPTH CONTROL
When trenching in line with the centre of the excavator, the depth of the trench can continuously be controlled by using the hydraulic ram which normally controls the bucket.

For offset trenching, the hydraulic bucket ram of the excavator is only used to position the trencher attachment vertically.
Depth control can then be achieved either by manually pre-setting the digging boom or, optionally, by means of separate hydraulic rams built into the trencher. (ZV101) The latter allows for continuous depth adjustment by the operator or automatically through a laser grading system.

WEIGHT
850 to 1450Kg depending on options fitted.
Overall width with single boom and with side guards: 1720 mm; without side guards: 945 mm.

EXCAVATOR REQUIREMENTS

8 tonnes minimum weight with a safe lift of 1000 kg.
The excavator should be fitted with a creep speed gear box or have a hydrostatic infinitely variable transmission allowing for road speeds of 50-400 meters per hour. Hydraulic requirement: from 100lt/min at 160-250 Bar, depending on motors fitted.
